Vivian E. Keeling, 87, Veedersburg died 1 a.m. Thursday in Hickory Creek Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Keeling worked for General Electric, Danville, Ill and for the Ben Franklin Store, Veedersburg. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Veedersburg, and Bonebrake Cemetery League.
She was born Aug 19, 1916 at Veedersburg to Till and Jenny Leonard Brewer. She married Kenneth "Nip" Keeling Sept 1, 1934 at Veedersburg. He died in 1999. Survivors include a son, Dick (Janice) Keeling, Hillsboro; four daughters, Bonnie A. Helms, Highland, Ill; Shay Andrews, El Cajon, Calif; Jolynn Slazas, Tustin, Calif and Sonnie Johnston, North Salem; a sister, Thirza Keeling, Veedersburg; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A brother, a sister and a son are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Monday in Dickerson Funeral Home, 303 N Main St, Veedersburg with Revs. John Gossett and Linda Lawler officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. SUnday in the funeral home.
